Mac Eng Hockey

Posted At 02:10:40 PM in Sports by David Russell (President 08-09)

The McMaster Engineering Hockey Team is a team exclusively for engineers, both male and female, whether you are in Civil, Electrical, or Materials or any other program within the Faculty of Engineering. We operate team(s) in the McMaster Athletics and Recreation Intramural Hockey League as well as Sunday Night Shinny (inclusive to anyone whether you're on the intramural team or not) for anyone who wants to come out for an hour (practically no committment) and just play some pick-up hockey. Sunday Night Shinny takes place every Sunday at Olympic Arena (with the exception of the Super Bowl, the winter exam period, and the first weekend of Reading Week) at a cost of only $5. This is a great way to come out, get some exercise that every engineer student should be able to get, and make some friends, too. There is no skill required whatsoever, even if it's your very first time on the ice, or with a hockey stick in your hand. Come out and have some fun!! If you have ANY other questions, feel free to contact Brandon Curtas, no matter what your question is (even if you're wondering what an offside is).
