It's your favourite time of the year! No, I'm not talking about exam time, or even that it's almost winter break. Its time for the McMaster Engineering Society's Presidential Elections! For the exact outline of the responsibilities of the President & to see if you are eligible to run for this position, check out our new policy manual, located here: http://mes.mcmaster.ca/media/restructure_policymanual.docx .

To be nominated for the role of MES President, fill out an MES Elected Position Nomination Form & Contract (found under the Applications & Forms tab), and submit it to the CRO Mailbox, located in JHE 121. Nominations are open now, and will be closing on December 21st, at 6pm. Due to the fact that the Nomination Period is taking place over the examination period, please also send me an email at cro@macengsociety.ca, just to ensure that your nomination form was received.

The timeline for the election is as follows:
Nominations: December 1st - 21st
Campaigning: January 3rd - 9th
Elections: January 10th & 11th.

If you have any questions about the role of MES President, or the Presidential Elections, please don't hesitate to send me an email at cro@macengsociety.ca, or just ask me in person.
